Evangelist Timiney Figueroa, a native of Brooklyn, NY, is a fifth generation preacher born to Bishop Eric R. Figueroa Sr. and Evangelist Doreen Figueroa, pastors of New Life Tabernacle located in Brooklyn, NY. At the age of three the Lord anointed Timiney to sing. This was the beginning of a powerful, global music ministry.

 

Throughout her career Timiney has ministered along with some of gospel music’s most notable artists including Grammy and Stellar Award winner Bishop Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Choir, John P. Kee, the late Rev. Timothy Wright, Kurt Carr and the Kurt Carr Singers, Tasha Cobbs, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and many others. Her signature voice can be heard on such songs as Calling My Name, Lord, Send Your Spirit Down, Why Not Trust God Again, I’ve Seen Him Do It, Break Every Chain and PRAY to name a few.

 

In 2009, Timiney received her calling to preach the gospel. She answered that call and was ordained as an Evangelist. Since then, her public ministry has been committed to changing the lives of others through song and the preached Word of God. Timiney has had the privilege of being mentored by many great kingdom leaders, who have changed the course of her destiny.

 

Experiencing the perplexity of life’s challenges, conflicts and changes, as a woman, Timiney saw the need to create an open and diverse forum for women of all ages, denominations and nationalities. In 2012, Timiney founded and is the Executive Director of the GROW Movement. G.R.O.W. (Godly Remnant of Overcoming Women) is a movement designed to inspire natural and spiritual development in the lives of all women. It is the mission of GROW to challenge women to remain faithful in service and love to God, their families, themselves, each other and the world community. This is a thriving movement, GROWing women – one choice at a time.

 

Timiney is a faithful member of New Life Tabernacle where she serves in ministry with her father. She is also the proud mother of three marvelously gifted and very talented children Quincy, Miles and Ella.
